At the age of 8, Christian first gained interest in the harp after seeing a Saturday night harp concert on PBS. The next day, he met renowned harpist Gail Barber at church and began taking harp lessons soon after. After moving to Branson, MO, he began studying harp under experienced harpist Nancy Dygert - who remained his teacher for 15 years. He attended College of the Ozarks where he continued progressing as a harpist and performer.

Christian graduated from College of the Ozarks with a bachelor's degree in music performance and married his college sweetheart Emily. Since then they have lived in Naples, FL and Paraiso, Panama - where Christian enjoyed teaching music at an international Christian school. They then lived in Cincinnati, OH while completing a Masters in Harp Performance at the University of Cincinnati College - Conservatory of Music, where he had the privilege of studying under Alaina Graiser and Gillian Sella. Christian and his family now live in Bonita Springs, FL.

Christian has used the harp to be involved in many areas of music. He has played for many weddings and special events, as well as performed in various groups and live shows. Christian has had the opportunity to play for many esteemed individuals, including former president George W. Bush and Tom Brokaw. He has performed with the Drury Civic Orchestra, College of the Ozarks Orchestra, Gulf Coast Symphony, and Charlotte Symphony.
